  • 1964 - completion of post Secondary School of Applied Arts, subject scenography
  • 1964 - 1966 - work in theaters Alfa, Plzeň, Circus Kludský, Oldřich Stibor Theater Olomouc, South Bohemian Theater České Budějovice
  • 1966 - 1972 - works as a scenographer in The Town Theatre Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, in National Art Center Ottawa
  • 1972 - 1996 - lectures at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada, the history of scenography
  • 1990 - appointed as full professor at Dalhousie University Department of Theatre, Halifax
  • 1992 - member of the Foundation for the Baroque castle theater in Český Krumlov

Professor Peter Perina is the author and supporter of the conception of the Baroque Theater Foundation. By his creative abilities and experiences, as well as acquaintance with international standards of work, he has contributed to the fact that the foundation represents one of the most prestigious workplaces within the scope of its activities. His selfless devotion and great enthusiasm set an example and appeal for work of the whole foundation panel. His outstanding gift, among others, is based on the ability to name phenomena and give them a timeless dimension. Professor Perina more than anyone else understands the uniqueness of the castle theater phenomenon. His formulation, "The Baroque castle theater at the Český Krumlov castle is a gem in the crown of the theater heritage on our planet" has become an epigraph of many publications, essays and official speeches concerning the castle theater in Český Krumlov.

Professor Perina\'s presence as the President of the Board of Directors of the Baroque Theater Foundation is recognized and respected by experts at home and abroad, and for the last several years has been a definitely positive addition to the good name of the Baroque Theater Foundation.
